
Tough Mudder
After their meteoric rise in popularity, Tough Mudder was forced to pause during Covid. In early 2021, they asked us to help create a fresh suite content that would energize new and returning audiences. Over multiple events, and using DSLR+gimbal, GoPros, and drones, we captured the spirit and energy of Tough Mudder, and put out engaging, unique videos via their Instagram and Youtube channels.
Obstacle Instructional Videos
To help build excitement for the 2021 season, we created a series of instructional videos that showcased different obstacles. With TM personality “Coach” as the host, these humorous videos gave viewers an inside look at how to train for each element.

Partnership Videos
Tough Mudder has great brand partners. Together, we developed a content capture + edit offering that TM could extend to these sponsor. Using real events and athletes as the backdrop, we created authentic, engaging brand videos that extended the partnerships far beyond banners and samples.

Same Day Recap Video
To maximize the impact of their first event in two years, Tough Mudder tasked us with shooting and editing a recap video in less than 24 hours. With an on-site editor + DIT, we took three days worth of footage and delivered an epic trailer that TM used to announce their big comeback.

4K String Reel
Following each event, we combed our hours of footage and provided a color-corrected highlight string reel to Tough Mudder. This enabled them to strategize on what cut-downs they wanted to make and where they should live, and offered a streamlined process for delivering edits in any format.

From viral Instagram reels to drone flyovers, to event announcements, we offered a continuous stream of unique, fun, and engaging content that kept TM’s channels full
Youtube Workout Series
Six 2-3 minute episodes with TM fitness coach Shayne on specific ways to train for obstacles.
Partnership Stringouts
As we started making string outs for TM, their brand partners started to ask for string outs as well. They gave brands the opportunity to create social content in all sizes (16x9, 1x1, and 9x16).
